Christmas Card Etchings John W. Winkler took great pleasure in doing these Christmas cards starting from 1934 to 1971. He used various themes and often skipped a year or did more than one with a certain year's date. He sent them to special friends. If they did not reply, their names were struck from the list. Nine sets of 23 etchings were signed posthumously by his wife, Elizabeth. (EGW) Many of the cards are inscribed by Winkler and his wife. The Christmas Cards have been divided into 4 groups.
