John W. Winkler traveled to London 1925 - 1928 to pursue new subject matter. He made etchings and drawings mostly along the Thames River. He was known as "The Man Who Drew on Brass."

*The A and B designations on a print title indicate the first plate done. Sometimes plates of a similar scene were found later and printed so sub-letters are used.
